(More customer reviews)I have the JoJo edition of this watch, it is nearly identical. The main appeal of this watch is the "fine diamond jewelry" execution and workmanship with colorful diamonds and the gleam of stainless steel. The bracelet is bold and does not taper, keeping 24mm all the way, using chunky links the first six of which have three colors of diamonds (white, yellow, and blue).Most of the visible surfaces of the case, bezel and face are covered with small colored diamonds; the bezel is encircled with about 50 diamond of about 5pt. size, of pleasing color patterns. The sub-dials and the name plate on the face are done in iridescent color-refracting mother-of-pearl that changes with the angle of light. The sapphire crystal is transparent and non reflective, allowing the diamond face to be unobstructed.

The only weak point is the movement. It keeps time and date accurately but the chronograph function is unreliable and is mainly for show. The date is easily set and accurate. When the back is removed you can see that the movement is marked "Swiss" with 4 jewel quartz, set in a large plastic insert.This watch is a eye catching fashion accessory with the emphasis on fashion, that happens to tell time. Buy one if you want to be noticed. Wear it with jeans or a suit. Show it off with pride.

(More customer reviews)I purchased this watch as a gift for the ten year anniversary of one of my employees. She loved it and began wearing it immediately. However, soon after receiving it, it stopped keeping time. When she contacted Tag Heuer, they informed her that she needed to send it to the service center for repair. LVMH (Louis Vuitton Moet Henessey) is the parent company of Tag Heuer, and the service center does all the US repair work on these watches. Her watch was repaired and sent back. But NOT FOR FREE. Even though the watch was under warranty, she was told that because it was purchased from Amazon rather than in a retail store, the warranty would not be honored. Very disappointing. Plus the repair was over $100.

About a month later, the watch again failed and had to be sent in a second time. Once again, LVMH saw fit to charge for the repair, stating that the problem was different and therefore not covered by the warranty attached to the first repair that was done. WOW!

Before buying a Tag Heuer from Amazon, make absolutely certain that you obtain a warranty that will cover the watch. Our experience indicates you may be out of luck. Caveat Emptor.

(More customer reviews)I am a huge admirer of fine watches and I own several from Rolex to Accutron.When I order a watch, I can't wait for that "blown away" feeling when I first open the box and I just didn't get that with the Tag Formula 1 diamond watch.It was very light weight for it's size, not heavy and solid feeling and it just didn't dazzle me as I was expecting it to. If the watch was $800 or $900 I may have thought more about keeping it, but for $1450 there are a lot of nicer looking diamond watches out there that will thrill me more than this one did.Bottom line, I sent it back for a refund.
