(More customer reviews)Invicta's 3972 Square Corduba is my second Corduba watch and first in this series square style.This is a big and unique watch that has a prominent round satin finish gold plated raised bezel whose top edge is 3-millimeters wide.This bezel is raised 3-millimeters above the square plate it's affixed to and is flush with all four sides of the square casing.The satin finish gold plate is secured by four polished gold hex head screws strategically placed in the four corners of the watch's square case. The satin black case contrasts with its polished black chronograph pushers and crown. Using this platform Invicta showcases their exquisitely colored ivory dial with its glossy black enamel hour markers and luminous minute and hour hands. This is a boldly different, stylish and sharp looking watch!

There are three complications on this watches' ivory dial.A three-day date window is at three o'clock, a sixty second sub-dial at six o'clock and an elapsed sixty-minute chronograph sub-dial at twelve o'clock.All of these complications are subtlety outlined with silver. This watch is listed as paired with a cloth strap. However, my watch arrived with a 4-millimeter thick black calf skin leather strap and buckle with ivory stitching.This strap amply supports the watch but required breaking in a few days to fit comfortably. This is a lot of watch for the $133.00 price I paid on Amazon two weeks ago. Now it is a steal as I write this review at the current Amazon "Friday Sale" price of $113.05.If you are sitting on the fence considering this watch, I say grab it before the price rises.

(More customer reviews)The base 3100 is a Classic dress watch with dark leather band and the vintage look of Roman numerals.
At the 12 o'clock position large twin numerals stand out offering a perpetual calendar date, automatic till the year 2100.
Eco-Drive solar power will run the watch for up to 12 months without a charge. Give it a little light, and it takes care of itself.
The watch is water resistant to 100m (about 330 feet) but as a dress watch keep the leather band out of the water as leather and water don't mix.
Luminous hand and dot markers. 6 o'clock second hand and 9 o'clock 24 hour dial.The 24 hour dial is not a second time zone but more of an am / pm indicator.
The only place they skimped is the anti-reflective crystal. Its made of mineral glass instead of a more expensive sapphire crystal.

Clean cut and polished all stainless case. Fine leather strap with a machined stainless deployment clasp. This is a grab and go dress watch with zero maintenance.
Would buy it again, and its one of my favorites.

Make sure the retailer supply's a complete Citizen package.
1. Watch is sold in a square Citizen Eco-Drive Box.

3. Limited Five Year Warranty book which should be validated inside with the Retailers stamp.

(More customer reviews)I recently received this watch as a gift and the giver wanted it to "last for years."From what I can tell, this watch will do just that.I've already worn it in a steamroom, swimming pool, and hot tub and the watch has endured my lackluster carpentry skills without a scratch or any signs of incorrect timekeeping.In fact, from the day I set it until now (three weeks later), the watch is still perfectly synchronized with the atomic clock time from the Internet.The sapphire face is awesome -- it gives all the dials a rotating shimmer when viewd from certain angles which looks really cool.I find the stopwatch incredibly easy to use and the alarm is pretty simple , as well, though you may need to review the instructions the first few times.The alarm is loud enough to wake me from sleep with no problem.The only drawback I've found is with setting the alarm.You pull the knob "one click" to set it and "two clicks" to synchronize the alarm dial with the real time.Sometimes, I inadvertently pull the knob out too far when trying to set the alarm and instead I mess up the time shown on the alarm dial (and concurrently fail to make the alarm go off).However, I'm getting used to it after only a few short weeks.The pictures don't do the watch justice -- the black metal is shiny (kind of like smooth black marble would be) and the band is the most comfortable I've ever had.It doesn't even feel like it's on.

In all, I'm so glad I got this watch!It's the best I've ever owned and one of the few analog watches (which look much more classy than digital) that offer both a stopwatch and an alarm.

Fact number 2: Bought this watch for my girlfriend, but it was way too big. In fact, she taught I made a mistake, believing this supposedly man's watch was a ladies'. I must say... It definitely looks like a man's. Looks perfectly on my (man's) wrist!

My gifriend won't wear it, so I -dissapointed as I was- started wearing it just as a way to make fun of her. However, I started to like it! I have already received compliments for it, when people have seen me wearing it thinking it really was a new watch I bought for me. I could return it, but I am seriously considering keeping it... for me, of course. Altough the watch is great, I gave it 4 out of 5 stars: It should not be labeled as ladies!

(More customer reviews)I have worn this watch for about two years.It is very accurate, and keeps time within five seconds a month of the atomic clock in Boulder, CO.I like the gold accents on the band and case, and the gold treatment of the hands and hour markers on the face against the "gun metal gray" dial is striking.I have worn this watch while swimming in the ocean and had no problems, thanks to its 100 meters water-resistance.The watch is heavy, but reassuringly so.I have come to prefer stainless as the best watch material for sports watches; scratches can be buffed out, and it just looks good.I have also buffed out scratches on the mineral glass crystal.I can put this watch away for a month or two and it is still running and accurate.There can be little doubt that Seiko is one of the very top watchmakers in the world today.
