Swiss ETA movement (important to get considering ETA's movement contract is up) nice sweeping movement. On the back there is an exhibition case back that shows 4 jewels and the balance wheel. On the front is a date and Roman numerals (rare for this particular watch). Only 500 ever made.

Victorinox Swiss Army Professional Dive Master 500 Mecha Mens Watch 241356 Review

Victorinox Swiss Army Professional Dive Master 500 Mecha Mens Watch 241356
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I am a long time Swiss watch fanatic.I've owned over 20 Breitlings, over 20 Omegas, etc., etc.For me, Victorinox is not usually thought of as the height of horological craftsmanship. But this watch is pretty decently done.

The case is high quality, on par with mid-level swiss watches (Oris, Tissot, etc.).The crown is nice and large. The movement is a lower-grade ETA movement. The finish is workmanlike. But who cares. It runs well.

The bracelet has solid links, which is a plus. The links are held together with split pins, about two notches below screwed links and one notch below collared friction pins. That is the low point. But the bracelet clasp is decent and has a diver's extension. The clasp has three holes for micro adjustment via springbar. In addition, there are two half links on the bracelet.Getting the perfect fit should not be hard to do.

A sapphire crystal on the front is nice to have.It is nicely recessed into the case (no chipping problems like Rolexes suffer-- but let's not go there, ok?)The display back is a mineral crystal, but very thick. The 500m depth rating is really impressive.

The dial is very legible and the lume is bright, although the lume on the hands is significantly brighter than that on the hour markers.

The bezel has a very solid click, much more high end than I expected to find.Interestingly, there is lume on the bezel too.

I have a 7" wrist and this watch is not too big, at least by today's standards and styles.

The gunmetal finish on the SS case and bracelet is really attractive. We'll have to see how it holds up.

Why five stars? For the price, this is one heck of a watch.Others to consider in this category are Oris TT divers, Doxa subs and Marathon.

Citizen Men's BJ2115-07E Eco-Drive Depth Meter Chronograph Imperial Rubber Dive Watch Review

Citizen Men's BJ2115-07E Eco-Drive Depth Meter Chronograph Imperial Rubber Dive Watch
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I literally spent days looking for the right watch for me. To be honest, buying a watch online is a lot like choosing a mail-order bride. You never really know how one is going to look until you take the plunge and buy it.

I recieved the Citizen BJ2115-07E on 7/1. It is now 7/21 (yes I did just look at the watch I am reviewing to check the date) and I still love this watch. From the second I opened the watch, I have been in love with it.

The watch case is large, but not too large. It is just large enough to be noticed on my wrist, but it doesn't completely engulf my wrist like some fossil watches do. The face of the watch is bold and beautiful without being too complicated. The shimmery, almost pewter-like face catches the light perfectly at every angle, really accenting the elegance of this watch. The blue accents on the watch (to be honest, the main selling point for me) really lend a lot to the watch's overall character.

The one thing I will say about this watch is that it is HEAVY. I'll be honest, when I first started wearing this watch, my wrist was a little sore for the first few days. I personally like the weight of this watch, but others might be a little put off by it. However, by no means is it overwhelmingly heavy. You can still do your work...you'll just know you're wearing this watch. I really enjoy the gurth of this watch when compared to some of the other watches I've worn/tried (an Eric Edelhausen Ganymede which felt like it wasn't even there). I love the weight and look of this watch. In my opinion it really gives off the image of "look at me, I'm a total badass".

I am constantly recieving complements on my watch in the workplace. Even though the band is rubber, the face and case of this watch are so elegant that observers don't seem to notice the band. I was skeptical at first, but over time I've grown to love the rubber watch band. It comes in handy to not have to worry about cleaning the metal/drying the leather after washing your hands or even jumping in the lake/pool.

Overall, Citizen has made a great watch here for the price. Whether you're a diver or not, this is a buy I highly encourage anyone with an interest in this watch to make.

For the most part, I like this watch. It came packaged in a water proof, enormous, bright yellow plastic case.It came with three extra bands. The watch was excellent in its demensions except one. This watch is about 1/2 inch thick and weighs in the pounds. This is ok if you are submerged but for daily wear its a bit much.Otherwise it is a beautiful watch, highly polished and with almost every function you could want from a watch.

TAG Heuer Men's CAF5010.BA0815 Aquaracer Swiss Automatic Black Dial Watch Review

TAG Heuer Men's CAF5010.BA0815 Aquaracer Swiss Automatic Black Dial Watch
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I will preface this by saying that I ultimately purchased this watch from another online retailer mainly because they offered an extra year warranty, but the reviews here at Amazon were such a great help I thought I owed it a review of this watch by way of thanks. This is a review of the product, not Amazon.

I also waited a month to write, to let my opinions solidify and the watch get all "settled in."That said...this watch is absolutely fantastic and I am extremely happy I decided to purchase it.I have loved watches since I was a kid, and have huge appreciation for the artistry and mechanical craftsmanship that goes into a fine mechanical watch, which was the biggest reason for paying the surcharge for an automatic/mechanical over a quartz. For some it might also be a selling point that the mechanical will still be worth a significant portion of what you paid for it decades from now, while even a brand-name quartz will not.

With respect to this particular watch, I decided the Aquaracer was the style for me, expressing a very nice mix of class with athleticism...kindof a "Yes I have arrived, made it good, but that doesn't mean I'm gonna get fat and lazy" sort of statement. The Aquaracer is a very nice balance of beauty and functionality. As for this particular model, I guess it was one of those "in for a penny, in for a pound" things. My understanding is that the "standard" chronographs are the same movement, so it should be possible to just "happen" to receive one in which the tolerances and adjustments all mesh and the accuracy would be identical to this certified chronometer model, and save your $500 or so.But to me, an important part of the reason for buying this type of watch and not a Timex was because of the craftsmanship and precision, so paying a bit extra to know that my watch received "cherry picked" or more finely finished parts, and perhaps a bit more old school personalized attention in assembly and setup, was a definite plus. There again, I intend to keep this watch for the rest of my life, but if it ever were to be sold, I'm sure the value would be significantly increased by being more rare.

The result? An astonishingly accurate and beautiful watch. It's big and it's heavy (although not out of line with current fashion, and smaller than some, like the Omegas), and for the first few days you may be a bit more aware of it and ask yourself "I didn't go too big, did I?It doesn't look too outlandish on me, does it?"After a few days, you're completely used to it, it looks and feels perfect, and I am very, very happy I made this choice.I also checked the accuracy a few moments ago (it's one of those things you kindof enjoy, having a watch like this), and it has gained 11 seconds in 8 full days.Wow!You DO get what you pay for.I chickened out on the grey-faced model, because I had no chance to see one in person and I was just too nervous about whether I'd like the color in the long run, and I'm happy I stuck with the traditional black face.It looks fantastic and classic, and this chronometer version has subtle touches (like the second-hand dial) that just really look great in black.

It's hard not to rave about the watch. If I had to point out "concerns," I would say one needs to be aware of the size and weight (which, as I say, most people will come to love, but I could see it being a problem for some individuals). The stainless band will show scratches a bit, but that's a function of the metal and fine finish, not something wrong with Tag.It's not noticeable unless you are really studying the watch, and it mainly shows up on the clasp portion, which is pretty much out of sight anyway. Finally, although it's not a "problem," I have noticed what one other reviewer noted, that the bezel perhaps rotates a tad easily, so that occasionally you will look down and see it has rotated because of snagging when putting on a coat or something.

All in all, a wonderful watch, well worth the money in my opinion.

At first i wanted to buy a Tag Heuer F1 watch, because they were the only ones i could afford while im still in college. I however then saw the Aquaracer for 1200 dollars (quartz movement) and thought i could maybe afford this as well, however as i am a big fan of watches, the automatic was the better choice for even more money (1540 $) I thought about it alot and the more i looked into the web page of Tag Heuer, the more i fell in love with the watch. So i took a deep breath and ordered the watch. It ended up being 1800 dollars incl. Tax and the one day shipping, way over my limit!! But it was worth it :)

The watch arrived THE NEXT DAY after i ordered it! ( i however live in NY state and i think the provider is located in Brooklyn)The watch was everything i expected. the box it came in is beautiful and has a great quality!!! It is definitely going to be used to store my watch. I however was disappointed when saw my watch not properly placed inside it, it was clearly taken out off in order to put the return strap in from the provider. The other problem i had was that i didnt know how the strap system worked, i had problems closing the clasp the first day, because i didnt know how to properly close it. The instruction manual didnt provide any information on it, the manual inside is also not for the specific model, but a general instruction manual for Tag Heuer watches. also there is no guarantee card w it!!! But otherwise i have no complaints that could take of a star!

The watch is great. Its big and looks very strong. The design and small details are really amazing!!!!!! I also chose this watch over others bec it is a better investment, it will have a spot for the historic timepieces of Tag Heuer due to the design and innovation of its accuracy, automatic movement w/ 500 M water resistance!!! It is also the best looking of them all, but that is a matter of opinion. So dont hesitate on this one. I also love the rubber strap, it is also a better choice over the steel bracelet, but again, thats opinion. Anyway, good luck and hopefully this helped!!!

Oris Men's 668 7608 8454MB Divers GMT, Date Watch Review

Oris Men's 668 7608 8454MB Divers GMT, Date Watch
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I have to say that I probably never would have bought this watch if Perfect Timing had not been offering it at such a good price. I always wanted to get a Swiss made GMT in my collection, but could never justify the additional cost for what seems like a relatively simple complication (compared to a chronograph, for example). But I am glad I waited until the right GMT watch came around, this is a beautiful piece, extremely well made, subtle appointments everywhere around the dial, bracelet, and case. Oris is a highly discounted brand by many grey market sellers, so shop it around before you plunk down the cash. But once you do, you will not be disappointed with this watch. For about half of what you would pay for an Omega Seamaster, you can get this watch with the GMT complication, and the quality is every bit as good.
