It arrived promptly and with no delay in shipping from Watchzone. I'd recommend this watch to anyone who wants a nice watch but is afraid of robbery or losing a Tag.

(More customer reviews)Just got this watch today and it's everything and more that I expected it would be.The watch is somewhat heavy... not really heavy, just enough to feel substantial and solid.It's 100% g-shock (durable, strong, etc) yet cool enough to wear for work.I love this watch -- it keeps totally accurate time - syncing with the atomic clock and uses solar energy to power.The only downside was the few minutes it took me to remove links from the band so I could get it to fit my wrist... not hard, just time consuming (you better have some small tools like those micro-head screwdrivers)... but once I took care of that (there are no instructions for that by the way)... I've had nothing but PURE LOVE for this watch.Another OUTSTANDING watch by Casio.

(More customer reviews)Looks very solid, but feels a bit heavy on the wrist.The accuracy of radio controlled ("atomic")timepieces is beyond compare.So if the "atomic signal" can be received, a $10,000+ Swiss watch will not be any more accurate.Looks like it can take a beating. A nice touch is the glass crystal, which doesn't scratch like the plastic ones. The only real issue I have is that unlike other Casio atomic watches, there is no visible receiving indicator to tell if it has indeed synched with the atomic clock in Colorado.However, being that I own several atomic watches and clocks, I can easily see that this Casio is in sync.Looks a bit casual, but much less so than the plastic G-Shock watches.Also, the analog dial, to me, is much more appealing than all-digital. All in all, a very good watch at a reasonble price. I'd rate it 4 1/2 stars.NOTE: If you are looking for a multiple alarm, databank-type watch, or one with barometers, etc. this is not the one. There are plenty of other Casio models out there.If you are looking for basic, ACCURATE solar-powered time, this is the one.

Follow-up:The new reviewer "J. Tashima" in Los Angeles is correct.You can push a button to receive "GET" which tells you the last date and time of signal reception.However, other Casio atomics have a visual "antenna" symbol, which lets you know that it has received, without having to push a button. Seems to be much more convenient, although this criticism is minor. I have noticed that the reception is slightly more "touchy" for me than the other three Casio Atomics I own, two of which are much cheaper all-digital models.The key to this one is finding a good location in your house. Holding (instead of pushing) the bottom right button (same as the "GET"), activates the manual receive function.The signal strength is shown in bars.This greatly assists in the proper placement for reception. By the way, I totally agree with "J. Tashima"...excellent review!

(More customer reviews)Have had this watch for about a month now and I love it.After having a couple of Casios this one is definitely higher quality.The case and band have a a high quality feel and the band was easy to adjust.The hands and numerals are easy to see, both in the light and in the dark with the light and the luminescence of the dial.If you are familiar with Casio atomic watches the controls are similar and the buttons easy to use.The stop watch uses the sweep second hand and dials as well as the LCD Screen. I have rated it as a four star for a couple of nit picks - The first and most important is that the LCD screen is too small to be seen with my naked eye.The second is that the auto on feature for the light worked well for about a day and then became intermittant, but it works fine with the button so I don't care.The reviews of the other Oceanus watches touted their ruggedness - I hope this proves so with this one, but only time will tell.

All in all I find this a great high quality watch that looks good, functions well and does not come with the $800 price tag of the Titanium watches.

It is now 1 year later and the watch has been impressive.Have been out of range of the reset for months at a time and the watch itself keeps perfect time - only about 3 seconds in three months!I do still need the directions to adjust things, but the adjustments are easy.The hands are adjustable, though the adjustments are not intuitive.Not perfect, but one of the best watches I have ever had!

After reading the directions and spending 4 hours to program without success, I called the help desk at Oceanus. After an hour, the very patient service representative was able to get my watch working correctly. A watch should not be this difficult. I enjoy the watch but it was not worth the programmimg trouble and I hope it continues to work accurately after the time change. Ron R. North Carolina.

Every time my wife has a question about the watch, such as setting alarm, etc, I have to go back to the manual and re-learn everything. It is not easy to remember how to operate this watch. If you want a watch to do timer, stopwatch, etc, don't buy this because it is not user friendly. But if you just want a reliable watch to tell time, this is a good one.
