(More customer reviews)This is an absolutely gorgeous watch and one of the best I've seen from Victorinox.It is a discontinued timepiece and amazon is one of the few remaining places you can find it for a good price.I was a bit hesitant to buy the watch from an unauthorized dealer but after some thought I became confident in buying from amazon-they do, after all, have a reputation to uphold and provide a good warranty.The watch is engraved with the swiss product number (V.25162) and the complete packaging comes with a EAN (european bar #) and ASIN.Do not expect a serial number engraved on this watch, as it has been distributed on the european market.This is a really beautiful watch, heavyset 15mm thick case and you can tell its of the highest quality (top of the line swiss army).I contacted Victorinox directly regarding this watch on amazon and here is the dialogue:

I am looking to find a chrono pro (24162) for sale...I find some on the internet priced around 900$ but the catalogue number is V25162...is that a valid item number?It is also inscribed on the caseback...this is listed on Amazon.com.

I have a question regarding the professional chronopro (V.25162)...I recently purchased one from amazon.com and was wondering if there should be a serial number written on the body of this watch (somewhere on the back)?The barcode tag on the watch has a number ASIN 7611160307354 and an additional number on the box EAN B001F9T408.Any help would be appreciated.

I DIDNT EVEN GET REFUNDED ON THE COST FOR 2DAY SHIPPING NOR DID ANYONE EVEN SUGGEST SOME SORT OF REFUND. THE WATCH IS BEAUTIFUL BUT I DOUBT I ORDER FROM THIS PLACE AGAIN.

(More customer reviews)I bought this watch several years ago and it has never let me down. The construction is solid and quite shock proof. For those who care, it is water resistant to 330 feet. The clock arms and hour points glow in the dark and there is a date window at the three o'clock position. The face is simple and easy to read, but quite elegant. The steel bracelet means you never have to worry about color matching, wear and tear, or funky smells. The battery should be replaced at department or jewelry stores, but only once every few years. Overall I am very satisfied with this purchase. My only small gripe is that after a few years the glass face has some small scratches.
