Rubber band has a nice texture and doesn't get uncomfortable when you have worn it for a long time. I have a tag heuer and swiss army victorinox and this watch is right up there with them.

As most all of the other TX reviews state, this is a very good looking watch. It is not as hard to read as some have said as it is very easy to get used to. The second time zone (upper left hand dial) on the otherhand is decorative, but not very useful as it is almost impossible to read. It has the functions I was looking for and the compass works as well as one could reasonably expect from a watch.

I have read reports of questionable quality and can't say that I don't agree to an extent. The second hand is off slightly from the marks. It isn't as lightweight as one would expect from reading some of the reviews, but is probably lighter than it should be based on the materials used. I am probably the most nervous about the band holding up. That might be based on past reviews however getting in my head. Some form of backlight would be nice as the glow does not last too long. I did not experience any problems with a loose or clicking bezel as described by others. The lack of feedback from the buttons does not bother me, but they are correct, there isn't any feedback. I would not rank the initial quality as matching the list price.

I put four stars based on what I paid for the watch after a deep discount. I think I got what I paid for. It is not based on the retail price. If it were, I would probably give it three stars.
