Invicta Men's 4573 Subaqua Noma III Collection Chronograph Watch Review

This watch needs to be seen in person to be appreciated. I had seen the watch in pictures and on TV via Shop NBC, but until I saw it on a friends wrist I wasn't impressed. In person the watch looks fantastic! The watch is large and heavy but with bracelet adjustments it wears very comfortable on my 7.5" wrist. The white luminous tach dial looks great with the black carbon fiber, it gives the dail a very clean look. The Ronda 5050C 13 jewel movement functions perfectly.

To start the seconds chrono, unscrew both pushers all the way, press the top pusher to start, the 1/10 seconds hand will spin for the first 30 seconds (cool) then stop but it is working and will jump to the 1/10 second when the top pusher is pressed again to stop the chrono. Press the bottom pusher to reset the chrono.

My watch came with the 7750 instructions so I had to play with it a little to figure out how to adjust the chrono hands. I have added instructions below for those don't know how to adjust this watch.

PROS:
The watch is big but wears comfortably on my 7.5 wrist.
The dial is very clean looking.
The lume is decent.
The bracelet is easy to adjust.
The Ronda 5050C movement functions perfectly.
The watch back with dragon logo looks awsome.

CONS:
Wrong instructions included with watch.
120 click bezel is firm but has some slack between clicks.
Crown protector is loose fit but locks in place ok.

My Thoughts:
For under $500 this is a helluva watch. If you are already used to wearing big watches I think you'll be very happy with this monster tool watch. Don't expect it to be Rolex perfect but do expect lots of comments and fun wearing it.

Instructions:
Set date with the crown half out, set time and day with the crown all the way out, the day is not quick set. To adjust the chrono hands to zero: pull the crown all the way out, unscrew both pushers. Press both pushers in at the same time until the lg seconds hand starts then release. Press the top pusher to adjust the lg seconds hand to zero. Press the bottom pusher once now press the top pusher to adjust the 1/10 hand to zero. Press the bottom pusher once now press the top pusher to adjust the min/hr hand to zero. Screw the crown and pushers in and you're ready to go.Hope this helps, RR in NC

Product Description:
This Invicta men's Subaqua Noma III Collection chronograph watch is sure to satisfy your every time-telling need with a sophisticated flair. The 58-millimeter case is constructed out of stainless steel, with a stainless steel bezel, and a textured stainless steel band that includes a fold-over clasp with safety mechanism for a perfectly secure fit. The dial window is made of tough, scratch-resistant sapphire and protects the black dial face, which features silver-tone hour indexes, two eye-catching chronograph sub-dials and a date calendar above the six o'clock position. In addition, a tachymeter subtly circles the dial face, and raised Arabic numerals line the unidirectional bezel at five-minute intervals. Powered by Swiss-made movement, this handsome timepiece is water resistant to 1640 feet.
Subaqua Collection
Led with expert engineering, and always ready to face the depths, no feat or occasion will ever be too great for Invicta's Subaqua to handle. The sheer magnitude of this mighty timepiece is superbly executed with surgical-grade solid stainless steel, Swiss automatic movements, and multiple color options of ionic plating. Managing up to 500 meters of water, finished off with a unidirectional rotating bezel, integrated shock resistance, and Invicta's luminous Tritnite hands, the Subaqua is the diver's definitive in negotiating any adventure by sea or by land.
Screw Down Crowns: Many Invicta watches are equipped with a screw down crown to help prevent water infiltration. This is most common on our Diver models. In order to adjust the date and/or time on such a watch, you must first unscrew the crown before you can gently pull it out to its first or second click stop position. To do this, simply rotate the crown counterclockwise until it springs open. When you have finished setting the watch, the crown must then be pushed in and screwed back in tightly. Not doing so will cancel the water resistance of the watch and will void all warranties from the manufacturer. Overall, this process should not require a lot of effort or force.

Never have I received as many people asking me about my watch as when I am wearing this one.At a recent doctor's appointment no fewer than 3 nurses asked to get a closer look and where I got it.The next day in a record store, one guy kept walking by me and finally stopped and apologized if I thought he was some sort of stalker but he only wanted to see my watch.I am very happy with it, I only wish it had some more features, like an alarm and perhaps a countdown timer. My biggest complaint with Invicta Watches is their instruction booklets are the same for every watch. It is too difficult to make sense of them.By the way, the picture does not do the watch justice. It is truly a beautiful watch!

This watch is an armful but a beautiful piece both functional and intricately unique. It is a little heavy but a rugged watch that turns heads and draws comments. I haven't used for diving yet but it is water resistant to 500 meters and thats a little deeper than I can go. So far so good!

Invicta Men's 5395 Subaqua Noma III Collection Chronograph Watch Review

Invicta Men's 5395 Subaqua Noma III Collection Chronograph Watch

My first impression when i received this product was that jeez, this watch is HUGE, really big. I thought of selling it immediately. Having had it now for 3 months I dont hate it anymore, however i am disappointed in some aspects.
1. I wanted a watch that i could set the date and never have to set it a gain like the casio perpetual. because this had a day, month and date function I thought that at the very least 30 day months would be 30 days and not 31.
2. the tritnite luminous hands are a joke. my swiss army watch glows in the dark for hours and is brilliant, this glows faintly and last for just a couple hours and then you have to strain your eyes to see. the date and other functions dont show in the dark.
3.the manual that comes with it is poorly written and the watch does not function as stated.

The quality of the watch in terms of build is excellent. It weighs a ton and feels as solid as a battle tank. the chronometer measures up to 10 hours and gives up to a 1/10 of a second within the first half an hour.
