(More customer reviews)Being a recreational diver and living in a city with so much insecurity I decided to purchase a reasonably priced double purpose watch (daily use and diving). I realized extensive research, the decision practically came down to deciding between this watch and a sector (having gone through such brands as Technomarine, Swiss Army, Invicta, among others). During the research and product details I was drawn by ... the great Ilumination system this watch boasts to have, actually nothing out of the ordinary ... it glows just about the same as other watches (unless that with time and sunlight the intensity may grow ??) and the bezel feels toyish compared to other watches I own (2 Tag Huer, 1 Technomarine). Getting the cons out of the way, now the pros, it`s a very nice looking, well built watch at a reasonable price, has a great look and feel to it (rather heavy, so I assume it to be a sturdy durable watch)it has a large very visible face, the rubber (poly) bracelet looks nice and durable. So far seems to keep accurate time compared to other watches I own and is silent (not like the annoying swatches).This is a watch I would strongly recommend, once again, depending on what your looking for: If you want something dressier try this same model with steel bracelet (very nice looking, model 8002). Comes in a nice packaging, Kudos to the company for that.
Regarding the delivery and Amazon service, as usual (in my case), excellent service, on time delivery, in this aspect 5 star rating.

Be prepared to tackle any task with durable, stylish Luminox Ultimate Navy SEAL Dive Watch for men, which features the vaunted Luminox self-powered illumination system. This watch's hands and dial markers glow 100 times brighter than other luminous watches and will provide continuous illumination for more than 25 years. It is water resistant to 200 meters (20 ATM, 660 feet), which is suitable for recreational scuba diving. The large-sized stainless steel watch case measures 1.75 inches wide and 0.5 inches deep. Luminox Self-Powered Illumination System
Each Luminox watch employs tiny self-powered micro gas lights (borosilicate glass capsules), which are firmly embedded in the hands and the hour indicators on the watch face (as well as on the turning ring of diver's watches). Luminox watches need no external light source to "charge" the paint on the dial or hands in order to glow as do conventional luminous watches, nor do they require a push of a button to light the dial as do electro luminescent watches.
