(More customer reviews)Tissot is an old respected swiss watch company which dates back to 1853. the txl 7 follows the tx series and is the top of the line. Providing both analog and digital displays, it allows the wearer to disable the digital display thereby enhancing the classic simplicity of the silver and black elegance. The various functions are activated by a rapid movement of the crown.At first this may seem awkward but it prevents the unintentional change of settings while wearing.The movement of the hands are particulary neet in that the faster you move the crown the hands catch up even after you finish the crown adjustment. The minute hand changes in one visible movement when you wear the watch,which shows the quality workmanship.The case and face are curved, which is an unusual and confortable feature not seen in most watches since Gruen introduced the "Curvex" watch in the 30's. If there are any negatives, it would be the size and weight. This however is probably a personal quirk in that, being small wristed, I prefer small and light watches.In summation, if you want a classic and elegant Swiss watch and also the modern features of digital functions at an affordable price (compared to Rado or Rolex)you will have a hard time finding a better watch. P.S. I liked it so much that Ibought the ladies version for my wife.

(More customer reviews)This is an excellent basic dress watch. I was looking for something with a black face and roman numerals, I was debating between this and some simular Bulova models. I read nothing but good reviews for Tissot and gave it a chance. When the watch arrived today, I was very impressed. This is one of the first quartz watches I've purchased in a long time. I forgot how much more slim the cases are compared to automatic models. The case is brushed stainless, with a polished faux-bezel framed around the face. The one drawback is the bracelet. From what I've heard, tissot's bracelets have a very bad habbit of becoming easily scratched. The first thing I noticed about it was how flimsy it was. I assumed from the price not to expect anything too luxarious, so overall I wasn't too upset with the bracelet. This was my one minor complaint resulting in a 4 out of 5 stars. I was able to swap the factory band for a leather one with no problems. Another big plus with the watch is the sapphire crystal used for the glass, and near impossible to scratch. I think Tissot is one of the few companies to offer in entry models. Overall, I highly recommend this if watch for a very basic and very handsome timepiece without spending too much.

(More customer reviews)When I have to pay $15 to get a battery replaced, I really like the idea of an automatic wristwatch.I've had a few, and this is by far the best of the lot.The cost is quite reasonable for the quality of the watch.The timekeeping accuracy (the one great plus of a quartz watch) is well above the average for an automatic.Also, this one doesn't run out of power if you forget to put it in a rewinder every night.

(More customer reviews)I've liked the look of the Blackfin series since they've come out in the last year or so(maybe less). I figured I'd wait a while until I found one that fit right and was affordable for me. I didn't really care for the rubber band versions. Nice, but not my preference.

Luckily, I have a Movado store nearby. I went in, tried it on, got the price breakdown with all sales and such applied and walked out with it in it's nice velvety brown box. This piece is worth every bit of the $595 retail price.

Great size, great weight, modern-classic look. The band is very reminiscent of the old Timex IronMan's that had the stainless with rubber inserts, though this is all stainless. This might just be my new favorite everyday watch. It will certainly share time with my Beacon.

If you're considering this watch at all... Just get it. You will absolutely love it.
