Steinhausen Tourbillon Mechanical Watch, Silver Review

The whole "description" is garbage. 7 months to make just one!!! Only 760 made in total yet only 1 out of 100 gets out of the factory. Does this mean there are only 7 that made it out for resale. And the brand is garbage. For $1,000 go buy a good Seiko, Citizen, or Orient Star and end up with something of quality. Not this cheap imitation.

Product Description:
Patented by 18th century watchmaker Abraham Louis Breguet, the invention of the Tourbillon is often cited as the most significant development in watch history. It consists of a regulating mechanism (balance wheel with hairspring) and a lever escapement, which makes one revolution in one minute. It eliminates effects of friction and earth's gravity. Among the world's most gifted watchmakers, only a select few are capable of manufacturing a Tourbillon:When a watch's escapement is in a vertical position, the earth's gravity either accelerates or slows the balance movement, causing a rate gain or loss. The Flying Tourbillon compensates for the gravity-induced gain or loss with its mobile carriage:Strap it on and go to a sushi restaurant downtown. Or to a jazz club on the Westside. As you converse with companions during a night in the city, mention the Flying Tourbillon, the most hailed watch in modern human history. We're sure your friends' curiosity will be piqued. Because of the Tourbillon you'll be the life of the party:The Flying Tourbillon, whose carriage is mounted on one side only, with no supporting bar, allows better visibility through the cutout window at 6 o'clock. The watch's face (and back) is made of sapphire glass, making it scratch-resistant. It is particularly complex and sophisticated in design, and suited for a man who appreciates the intricacies of watch mechanics:The Flying Tourbillon is a limited edition. Only 760 pieces have been built. It takes 6-7 months for a master watchmaker to construct one. And only one out of every hundred units is able to meet Swiss mechanical watch standards and make it out of the factories. Most Flying Tourbillons are collector's watches. And the majority of them are priced at over $12,000:Come in impressive decorative master wood box with genuine alligator strap by Steinhausen:Be one of the few people on earth to own a Flying Tourbillon, it is a collector's watch whose value will only increase with time.
