(More customer reviews)I purchased my first Tissot two years ago (PRC 200) and am still very pleased with it. For many years I've wanted a watch with an automatic movement, but unfortunately the higher end luxury brands like Tag Heuer and Breitling are out of my price range. I was thrilled when I saw that Tissot offered a Valjoux movement at under $1000 and had to go for it. It's a very solid watch and a very good looking one at that. It's pretty large and heavy and border's on agressive looking, so you may want to stay away from it unless you have a large wrist/hand/arm or like the not-so-subtle look. Although all Tissot's share pretty much the same dial, the fact that you can own a Valjoux at the price that Tissot's T-Race is makes it impossible not to buy if you're in the market for a very affordable automatic Swiss watch.

(More customer reviews)I personally chose the black MOP dialed version, but either color is amazing.The fit, finish, and overall quality on this watch are outstanding.From the heft of the bracelet, to the small details like the mill grain treatment to the bezel, pushers, crown, and bracelet head screws. Another bonus is the dual deployment clasp. It's a very technical looking and feeling timepiece. It is also on the larger side, which is exactly what I was looking for. I've had the watch for just over 2 months now, and the time has been dead on since I set it.I'm not going to lie and tell you that I get non stop compliments from every person in the world, but I have definitely caught a fair share of people staring at it when writing checks, shaking hands, etc.This watch looks serious, and it is.And for the price (can be had lower), it's a definite must buy for budget minded enthusiasts. If I saw this watch selling at its m.s.r.p in some boutique, I wouldn't be the least bit shocked. I will definitely be paying closer attention to LP.
