(More customer reviews)I got this watch for our 20th Wedding Anniversary.I looked at a lot of models and finally decided on this one.After looking at bangle-type watches like the Bela model, I decided that those scratched too easily. Diamond accents end up costing a lot more than the actual value of the diamonds. Gold-plating will eventually wear off, so that's why I chose a watch with just an accent of gold, and which won't be too noticeable if it does wear. For those of us smaller women, this watch is very good if you have a thin wrist because it can be easily sized. Plus the watch doesn't look too large on my wrist and it is very readable.The only negative is that you must keep the crystal clean because it will show grease against the black background.After much back-and-forth, I ended up buying from a Movado dealer during a sale. Because Amazon isn't an authorized dealer, you don't get the Movado warranty. I have confidence in Amazon, however. I asked the Movado dealer about warranties and he said that most people don't have problems with battery-operated watches, so the warranty isn't as important with this type of watch. So far I'm very happy with the watch, and I don't anticipate any problems with it.

The only thing with this purchase is that you don't have that much room with the watch. I don't like my watch hugging my wrist, I like is loose like a bracelet.I have a pretty normal size wrist and was surprised that it didn't fit the way I had hoped. It may require you to purchase an extension.
