(More customer reviews)I purchased the Men's Garrison watch for myself and a similar Swiss Army watch for my wife. I made the assumption that the pricing at Amazon would be at least competitive with other places. Restated: I didn't shop around or do my due diligence. Shame on me. I paid $233 + tax for the Garrison.
I received both watches in a timely fashion. My wife's watch was fine, no problems. On opening the Garrison, I noted a price tag attached to the watch - $135. I was a bit confused. So, I did my due diligence. I found the watch at REI for $100. Other places for around $120.
I returned the Garrison to Amazon for refund. No problem. However, what's with the incorrect pricing? I'll give Amazon a pass on this and consider it an honest mistake in inventory and pricing.
In the future, if I do business with Amazon, I will do my due diligence, shop around first.
Five Stars???Well, the watch is really cool. Highly recommended! The experience was disappointing.
