(More customer reviews)As a watch containing an altimeter, the T-Touch is very elegant. You would be equally elegant hiking the lower Himalayas as going toa party at the ambassador's house. However:
1. The watch doesn't have a light. The phosphor it does have is practically useless - at night, you won't know what time it is.
2. The vents for the barometric sensor make the watch water-sensitive. Although rated at 30m, at best it is sweat resistant - don't even shower with it.
3. Changing the battery is tricky because of the sensitivity to water. Many Tissot dealers send the watch back to the factory for a simple battery change - a 6 week process. Watch out for those eager to do it on their own.
4. I got the titanium version - although it is supposed to be scratch proof (and the crystal seems to be so), the buckle on the band is all scratched after 3 months.
5. In a strange lack of thought, although the watch has an analog hand and a digital display, the two are locked to each other so you can't display two different time zones (there are some hacks around that but they prevent other features from displaying properly).
