(More customer reviews)This is a beautiful watch.So far it has kept great time but the movement is probably still settling in.The watch is substantial but not too heavy.The band is solid linked stainless steel and is 3.5mm thick.Appearances can be deceiving as it looks like it has a folded end link but that is actually solid too.I have seen many descriptions that label this a quartz watch but it is actually an ETA 2824 swiss automatic movement.The movement retaining ring is actually metal and not cheap plastic used by other watch companies.

Amazon has the crown labeled as screw down but it is actually a push/pull crown.That does not bother me much as the shoulders around the crown do a good job of preventing it from being pulled out.At 39mm diameter (sans crown) some people might think this is too small but it actually looks nice on my 7.5 inch wrist.The front crystal is sapphire as stated on the back of the watch ("FRONT SAPPHIRE CRYSTAL") so I am not sure what the rear crystal is but I am guessing it is most likely mineral glass.The front crystal also has an anti-reflective treatment on the inside. The lume is not too bad, night adjusted eyes can read the time for most of the night.I did not give it a proper charge just to see how effective it was with normal light exposure.

Be careful when sizing the band, the pins lock into sleeves that fit inside one side of the band.If you lose one of these the pin will not stay firmly in place.These little suckers are only about 4mm long and can disappear real easy.I lost one but it was from the one link I removed so it does not matter.My only real issue with the band is that the links are 11mm long so precise sizing is not an option.

Overall, this is a great dressy watch with excellent swiss craftsmanship.I am actually going to put mine on a black NATO strap to dress it down a bit as its built like a tank and can probably handle any recreational activity I throw at it.If you can catch one of these on sale on the interweb, I suggest picking one up if it appeals to you.
