Let me begin by saying that I love watches. My first was an Oris TT1 titanium. What a first watch, huh? Needless to say the fit and finish of that impeccable time peice goes without saying. It was gorgeous and I had it for six years. Sadly, it was stolen three weeks ago. I am not interested in replacing my Oris, its cost is prohibitive at this time.

Therefore, I began my hunt for a replacement. I like unique watches and at minimum watches made by little known companies. Therefore, I was not interested in a Seiko, Citizen, Fossil, Rolex, or the like. So, I researched and studied, the result was coming across Reactor's line of men's sports watches. I just received my Fallout Orange Dial watch from Amazon. It is exactly what the manufacturer said it would be. Incredibly well built, solid, and absolutely masculine. This watch does not have the glint of the Oris TT1. That watch was noticeable from a block away. This reactor is more subtle and understated. The dial is a bit small for my taste, but for a man with small hands and wrists it looks completely appropriate on my arm, where an Invicta Russian Diver would look comical.

I am pleased with this time piece. The case is thick and slightly raised from the wrist. The weight of the watch is sufficient to communicate quality. The diameter of the dial could be a little larger, but that is my only suggestion. This watch is not heavily discounted like Invicta, but they seem to be well worth the investment, especially if you're looking for a masculine daily wear watch from a unique watch manufacturer.

The indexes are equipped with the patented Superluminova finish, which provides up to eight hours of low-light readability. A unidirectional bezel with etched numerals provides a detail of elegance as well as additional timekeeping functionality. The watch also includes both a day and date calendar at the three o'clock position. With a thick, forged caseback that includes an integrated O-ring, the watch provides superior water resistance to a depth of 200 meters: like all Reactor watches, it is individually tested to its depth rating. The watch is powered by analog quartz movement.
