(More customer reviews)This is a beautiful, big, and heavy watch.It is stunning.I also own the subaqua 6684.This watch is more complicated to read.The face is busy and it needs some getting used to.The chronograph is easy to use.If you use this routinely, the S1 is probably a better choice than the subaqua because you don't need to unscrew the chrono buttons to get it to function.

Going on looks, the Gold S1 really isn't any more beautiful than the subaqua 6684.I expected it to be a step up in looks even though that isn't an easy task the 6684 is stunning as well.One drawback to the gold platting is that it shows fingerprints.When I want the gold look, I'm willing to work on keeping it polished so it isn't an issue for me.

Comfort and fit.The 6684 sits better on my wrist and feels more comfortable.The S1 bracelet attaches to the watch at a steeper angle.A man with a really big wrist may have problems.I'm 5-10, 200 and the watch fits fine.If you were 6-5, 300, I'd recommend trying it on first.
